Actual Wep Speed numbers...Follow

#1 Jan 14 2008 at 3:36 AM Rating: Decent
Ok... so I've read the FAQ on rogues but I don't understand one thing about wep speed: what does the number acutally represent? Is it the amount of seconds between each swing or something else? If its based on time(seconds) then a higher number means its a slower weapon but if its sequential then maybe a lower number means its slower. Well anyway, I'm confused and would appreciate a thorough explanation of this. Thanks in advance.

Pretty simple, its weapons speed in seconds.

1.00 speed = 1 swing every second
2.00 speed = 1 swing every 2 seconds
2.60 speed = 1 swing every 2.6 seconds
3.20 speed = 1 swing every 3.2 seconds

Thats all there is to it.

Wow... that simple aye? Lol. Thanks! Ok so I know with 2h wep's the slower the wep is then the more it should crit but does the same apply to 1h's?

Crits a static rate, if you have 25% crit rate, you have 25% chance to crit on any given strike, weapon speed has nothing to do with it.

So for your question, on average, you can either crit 25 out of 100 times or you can crit 10 out of 40 times.
