im just starting a rogue and i am wondering what stats should i have on my armor should i have agi,stam,spirit etc..

Just so you don't get flamed, first thing you should always do before posting on a classes forum is read the stickies.
Now, as a rogue, you should be after Agi, Stam and Str.

Ya, agility is your friend in PvP and PvE (though its importance in each may differ). Same goes for stamina, but mostly for PvP.

do not focus on this one nearly as much, as agi will still give you all the attack power you need while leveling.
Look for "of the monkey" greens and when you reach outlands, "of the bandit" is the way to go.

And by don't focus on STR much I hope you mean don't focus on it AT ALL. It really doesn't do anything for Rogues that AGI or AP don't already do better.

As for me, I'm a stam fiend so at 67, my health is already up to 8k +... but with me adding agi as well, I'm an unstoppable machine!!! Okay, not really, but you get the point =P
