Shadowstep PvE?Follow

so you are saying that without dual wield spec, rogue radical spreadsheets (i use them as well but haven't tested the new shadowstep) state only a 1.2% difference between combat and hemo? i find that a little hard to believe, and i agree with you that hit rating is most important for combat because of combat potency. i was one of those guys that went ar prep hemo and used to pvp as hemo a long long time ago. i absolutely love hemo. i think it's way better than sinister strike.

i'd have to investigate the new spreadsheet to check it out, but i doubt it. i'll check it out and get back to you. now you assuming shadowstep hemo i'm also curious to check shadowstep daggers out on the spreadsheet.

and i'm sorry for being such a jerk, i'm one of those ff11 guys that prides himself on bringing everything he's got to the table as well. when people don't and they play half assed, i think they should be booted from the party. if you bring your a game as shadowstep, then that is perfectly fine. but it's a lot harder to ***** up and if you aren't performing /boot.

Well burst damage to me is mostly important in PvP. It is possible to use shadowstep without daggers but i wont really recomend it. Go to combat at 60 and you will own the charts bigtime!

No, burst damage is never important(barring some boss fights I.E Blackheart the Inciter).

Resiliance killed it in PvP, and sustained DPS has always been better in PvE.

End of story.

so i did kara as ShS spec yesterday... (because i was too cheap to respec twice)
obviously the dps went down. keeping SnD up all the time was a ***** but for stupid sh*t like chasing flares ShS is nice. and cheat death was great on prince.
eating those shadow novas made me lmfao. that alone made it fun, but next time i'll spend the money to respec.

I will state now that as all know Combat swords is the best spec for DPS. We all know this. There is no sense in denying it. I will however also say that I love ShS. My rogue Riatsu was recently switched to an ShS build. I find that it is more "fun" to play. Combat swords got old. It was the same old routine that we have all done. With ShS the play dynamics changed a bit. IF you hold on to that ShS before a knock back attack you can be instantly back to the fight with one button instead of taking the few seconds to actually run however far you have to. That is just one of the little perks.

I may in the future go back to combat swords just to get the DPS back, but for now Shadowstep is starting to grow on me as a worthwhile trick in my ********
