I checked it out, i got the vindicators from aldor, cause blinkstrike is never on the AH [when i check] and never dropped for me yet. Iam aiming for latros of course.

BUt ill be skipping the s1 offhand and go do a month or so of arena for the s2 merciless offhand.

Ill be getting the s1 mainhand . somewhere in the future i may or may not get merciless. its an option.

Though before the s1 mainhand ill be getting honor for the leather pvp bracers from warsong.

Ya their comparable [though many will argue this]. SO you have to compare what they both offer and what you value more. And consider the lost oppurtunity of not choosing one over other.

I don't think Blinkstrike would be worth buying it off the AH. The only reason I even have it is it was a Random World Drop for me in Mech (talk about lucky).

I would never consider buying it off the AH, its just easier to get something equal to or better without dropping a ******** of monehy which should go towards you Epic Flying mount.

Just think for a moment - how can a weapon which has 20dps less be better? The difference in speed is only 0.1, and in stats abot 12AEP. Even when it is an offhand (so 75% is still 15dps difference).

The DPS calculator shows for me (buffed) that S1 can be 10dps better than Latro's.
You will be really hard pressed to find a 10dps upgrade for 9000 honor (which is one day's work)

blink and latros will get you into Kara, take you through mag/gruul. if you still have them after that. you really need to pvp. the best swords available to rogues are from bg's and arena. its a bummer. Spiteblade is a great sword, although I have ran Kara enough to be exalted 3 times, and have never seen it drop. Last night when I sat out for Morogrim the talon dropped... I was really sad.
