I had these drop today off of a guy in elemental plateau... and now I'm wondering if I should use them along with a Cobrahide Armor instead of the leggings I have... here they both are... what do you think...
Leggings of Beast Mastery
with Cobrahide Leg Armor
Or stay with
Scale Leggings of the Skirmisher with Clefthoof leg armor and gems that give +14 AP, +3 agi, +7 stam, +4 crit
what would you do
I should add that I'm a BM hunter

i would go get me a pair of Sunfury legging from the quest in shadowmoon.
or stick with the old ones, leggings of beat mastery is worth more on the ah than on you legs :P
have never done any acual math on the legs tho, might not be as terrible as thet look in my eyes, remeber just because its purple doesnt mean its good or and upgrade

Keep the scale leggings. Your better off puting Beast mastery on the AH and hoping a noob buyes it.
Don't let the purpleness of the leggings of Beat Mastery fool you. They really pretty crappy. If you were sporting some green pants, then they might be worth keeping but if you've got a blue, stick em in the AH. Someone will buy them and you'll pocket a large sum of gold.
I sold those for 1100g on my server. I still have the Marksmen legguards from Halaa. For 1100g it was worth it to keep inferior armor. =D
Also... if you looked just 1 page over. You would have noticed this post that I posted about a week ago regarding the very same leggings comparing to leggings that is not even as good as the ones you have on your toon.

I guess I'm the contrary to popular Hunter gossip. I like the LoBM for soloing. Why? Yea, my Hunter's stats are worse. Show me another piece of gear that boosts your pet as much though.
I won't deny the 1k gold to sell them is the BEST option, but they did help with farming Scholomance. If your Hunter raids, then yea, the legs are pretty much crap since you can already take care of business. For those who don't raid, the little boost to your pet does help. If the 1k gold seems steep, get enchanting, run scholo and sell all the mats. It's a quick way to get 100's of gold a day and quickly pays itself off, and yes I bought these simply to make my Scholo farming that much more efficient (i.e. my Owl's mitigation / survivablitiy)
If that makes me a n00b, so be it. I just think it's nice to have some options other than pew pew pew trap. So if ya got the cash, test 'em out.
... besides, I wanted another gear set to justify installing ItemRack on my Hunter.
