BenedictionFollow

#1 Jan 11 2008 at 11:41 AM Rating: Decent
Has anyone attempted or completed the quests to get the Epic Staff Benediction recently. Is it worth it anymore now since BC. Is it as difficult as I've heard. It sounds like it would be something fun to try.....my priest just hit 60.

Doing it now is hard because the motivation level to grind out the Eye of Shadow and do Molten Core for the Eye of Divinity is negligible. It's not a hard quest, but still nigh-undoable in this day and age.

although it does have some nice stats...
there are far better staffs once you progress a few levels in the outlands

in terms of effort and results...i wouldn't reccomend it

looks awesome though

i got it on my draenei (lol) priest just for bragging rights. People constantly whisper me and ask how the hell i got it. I also plan on grinding it out for my undead priest (almost 70 yay) once I have adequate gear for it :p

Oh, there's no question that it's distinctive, unmistakable, and flashy. At level 60, you weren't a priest worth knowing until you got your Benediction/Anathema. It was a badge of office. I had that darn thing for well over a year, so much so that my character was hard to recognize without it.

In fact, in Karazhan, you can tell instantly if any of the adds are the holy priest or shadow priest. Why? The holy priest has Benediction; the shadow priest, Anathema. (And the MS warrior has an Arcanite Reaper, for those who remember the days when that weapon ruled the world.)
