As a 60 with 65 posts you should know better than to walk in here and ask a question like this. Do some research, read the sticky. I bet you will find the answers to all your questions there.

But since i am such a sweetheart....

1) A cat is a cat is a cat. A boar is a boar. And a Owl is an Owl. A cat the same level as your with the same loyalty trained in the same things is EXACTLY the same. The only difference anymore between pets of the same type is looks.

2) Go through the sticky and find the section about builds. Or do a search here for the numerous posts on builds. Since you where too lazy to read or search it in the first place I am suddenly too lazy to link it.

Why not. The USA has been trying to do it for at least the last century :P

Well, if George Dubb-ya ever plays, he'll be a force to be reckoned with. But I think having a country as a pet may cause some lag issues.

If only I could tame the Indian cricket team. (The Australians here should understand that).

Edited for spelling.

First of all shadowwofnight, I would like to humbly apologize for the horrible way you’ve been treated in this thread. It seems some people completely flunked out of their human relations classes. There is NO excuse for anyone to treat you, or anyone else, in this manner. Please understand that not everyone on this forum is that rude.

As to your questions, it’s true that all beasts within a family are created equal. So if you enjoy having a cat as your partner there’s no reason to switch pets unless there’s a particular look you would rather have. Just be sure you have all its skills up to date and you should be good to go.

As for raiding, I’m not an expert but from what I’ve read I think you can go either way. Back in the day it was more or less a given that once you started raiding you’d have to switch over to marksman. But the beast mastery tree has been beefed up enough that today I think it’s more just a mater of personal preference.

If you want to read up some more on pets, or see where to get the latest skills, check out Petopia (http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/) if you haven’t already. There are some good articles to be found there in addition to their listing of all pets and skills.

And yes, the stickies are another good place read up on all things hunter. But if you can’t find what you’re looking for please feel free to come back and ask here. Just ignore those who’s first response is to turn on the flame thrower.

Rude? Where's the rudeness? Seriously, you guys have become wusses after I became less active on these boards. Horrible way to treat him? I'd have had him eating his own ***** in less than a minute.

Ah well. It wouldn't be Calabar if it wasn't... what's the word I'm looking for... ah! If it wasn't "polite". I don't think I've ever seen Calabar be pissed off on these boards. I guess it's because Cal here hasn't had to deal with these inane questions year after year.

Seriously, when someone doesn't read the stickies, and then proceed to ask the same bloody questions that's been asked and answered a hundred times in a row, then they deserve every damn curse thrown at them. Apologize all you want, but I can assure you that it isn't on the behalf of most of us.
