Why would it be? I don't see a reason for it.

Actually I would like to see MORE content in Moonglade. It is kind of a waste of a zone right now. No herbs, no wild creatures, and nothing to do there except get druid quests. Whenever I pop back to train every two levels, I can't wait to leave.

It is a sanctuary for Druids. I go there when I just want to be in-game without having to deal with Tradechannel, General channel, morons running around being generally retarded and so on. Moonglade is my little haven away from that. I mean, how many people do you actually see in Moonglade?

The place is deserted most of the time, and it is quite beautiful.

cant only druids go to moonglade? i like moonglade, i think it would be cool if there was some more content there, a reason for druids to spend time there trading or swimming in the lake, lol. its neat to how druids arent interested in the factions there. makes me feel like i shouldnt fight horde druids elsewhere. although sometimes when im feelin vengeful i think it would be funny to camp there and make things really hard for them to get their bear form. perhaps eventually they would call some other high level druids and it would turn into a furry blood bath.

There are a couple of quests that require other classes to go there - quests start in Un'goro or Felwood I think. But they are just turn ins, that is all.

Okay, story behind this question was this.

Was just starting out yet another druid class, hit level 10, went off to do the bear quest, where I was attacked by someone 40 levels higher than me. So, was just thinking that since we have to do our low level quests in there, why not make it a Sanctuary for us? To have it be a place where druids can't attack anything but others can't attack druids (duels are still possible, of course). Kinda a place for druids to hang out and relax and stuff.

And when are they ever going to make the flightmasters into portals?

I do love Moonglade. so peaceful with that wonderously serene scenery ;)

Being able to just teleport there anytime i wish and fish or relax (while waiting for PVP/PVE etc is great.. also being able to just jump there to train is handy/repair is handy too sometimes.. great stuff.

Yes, portals would be nice to quicken the jouney out but hey, don't let them take our teleport away so i'm happy flying for 8mins so i keep my teleport but both, ofc would be nice :)

Forcing it as a sanctuary... hmmm.. i feel it is our druid duty to never attack others there and i never do - i love waving, greeting young heroes of the opposing faction there with the dangers of attacks :) i prefer that than having a forced safe-zone.

More content there would be fine and hoping they'll indeed add more to the buildings and the lands (barrows south etc)

Hurrahh for moonglade!

actually i dont see it as a sanctuary at all, no more than any other Neutral factioned city with guards, (booty bay, gadgetzan etc) soon as youre outside of their reach, just another PVP zone. Would be sort of cool if it actually was non-pvp cause it would truly be like a secondary hometown portal =)

I agree with the moonglade = sanctuary, that would be the sensible thing to do.

But I can't help to wonder (since my frist druid just dinged 12), can you fish in the lake and what kind of fish can you get there?

As to Moonglade fishing, the only source I can find says that you must have a skill of 205 to cast, but may lose your cast up until level 300.

You can catch: Lightning Eels, Oily Blackmouth, Raw Mithril Head Trout, Raw Nightfin Snapper, Raw Redgill, Raw Sunscale Salmon.

I don't think there are any specific nodes that spawn.

[EDIT]

And I agree with the Moonglade as a Sanctuary thing. I also wish that, while there, Druids automatically began to speak Druidic. They would be unable to communicate with the outsiders, but could communicate with those of the opposite faction.

Whether or not a whisper to another Druid outside Moonglade may be understood... I dunno.

When I think of Moonglade, I think of a cross between Heaven's Tower and the Sanctuary of Xitah (Zitah, Xi'tah?) from FFXI. Two of the best zones. Ever.

I happen to like the great numbers of deer and rabbits.

It's not huge, but new skinners can get lots of easy light leather. :D

I don't see why druids deserve their own special druids-only sanctuary when no other class gets one. Isn't enough that we're by far the bestest class in the game without getting all snobby about it?

Now class-specific sanctuaries for all classes that were actually useful would be cool. Druids have Moonglade; each class could have their own spot that was designed aesthetically to match their style. Underground cave for rogues. Ivory tower for pallies. Each could be cross-faction and have vendors, mailboxes, and an inn. Maybe even a bank and AH for each side. No goblins of any kind.

That way everyone would set their hearth to their class sanctuary (or hey, maybe everyone can just teleport and we don't even need hearth), the regular cities would be deserted, and I could finally get to the friggin' mailbox in Stormwind.

Making up words is betterer than not spelling them right.

I would like it if I Moonglade was a sanctuary. I prefer to keep it that way myself. Upon sighting any Night Elf druids at the trainer I like to circle them in Travel Form. Once I was following around a level 16 Night Elf druid. We danced in bear form and then a hunter killed me. It was deeply saddening to see him ruin our mystical ritual....

I would like to see class sanctuaries for other classes as well but druids are the most tame class. And I cannot see Blood Knights merging with other paladins (except in Scryers Tier, I guess) and I don't know how Troll priests will find solace with the Alliance kind.

Ah yes, somehow those believing in the holy light won't get along with those draining the holy light from a creature of good.

Heh, I'd like to hear the arguments they'd have though:D
