beast lord and desolation comboFollow

So was wondering if a combo of the beast lord and desolation sets was a good idea for a BM hunter. I like the 2 piece bonus from beast lord of a 4 second take off on our trap cooldown and the 2 piece bonus from the desolation set of increasing hit rating by 35. So am I just a huntard for thinking that combining sets is a good idea?

I'm working on that for my pre-Kara gear. One more key fragment to go! Get at least two of the Beast Lord set for the trap cooldown reduction. Get at least two of the desolation set for the +hit. The set bonus for all pieces of those two sets isn't worth it.
