First run we wiped on the 2nd to last portal. We run back reset and start again. This time we won.
My second run was unexpected. Had 2 hunters, a druid (tank), a pally (healer) and me. The pally didn't expect the group to go that well. He was a guildy and the rest were pugs. Pally told me he was going to leave after first wipe if it went bad. Jokingly he said in group that we had 30 min to clear it because a group he had earlier did it in 30. We wiped the floor and cleared it in 26 min. Aeonus dropped 2 healer pieces. Pally got one and we sharded the other.
My third run was right after the second one with the same group. We decided to go in and do it again for rep. Same thing we cleared it in under 30. However Aeonus dropped the exact same two pieces.
My Fourth run was tonight. Got a full guildy group and went in with blazing swords. Had me, warrior (tank), Different Pally (healer), warlock and mage. We beat it fine and I wasn't expecting much off Aeonus due to reading about rogues and their experiences with his drops. I look up at the screen and I couldn't believe it. Latro's Shifting Sword was staring right at me. It dropped! Wow I was shocked. I told the group I'd love the sword. They told me to take it. I was so shocked I didn't look at the second drop of his;Handgrips of Assassination.
I got both rogue drops off him on the same run. 4th run overall. Talk about luck. It goes nicely with my mongoosed Vindicator's Brand. Now I just need to save up to mongoose it. I'm a little poor since I bought my epic flyer yesterday.
