are druids really that good im wondering if i should make a new character as a druid what benefits do you get if your a druid? cause i dont want to have to lvl ,and find out it wasnt worth it. (current class: hunter)

It depends on what you want to do as a character. Early leveling is pretty slow, but very manageable if you know the tactics.

Druids make great DPS, Main Tanks or Healers in parties or raids but most guilds/ groups don't take Druid DPS simply because every other form of DPS also has a form of CC and druids don't.

I just hit lvl 38 and am full feral atm, with full sets of both DPS and healing gear for instances, with the end goal of beiing a raid healer, but feral makes for the fastest and easiest grinding. I am enjoying it, but after taking 3 other characters up to 50, the leveling is getting to me.

I admit I love healing in instances more than I enjoy DPS'ing, but I do one for gear and one for leveling so its a trade off.

The last thing I will say though is that questing or grinding in areas that pose a challenge is never boring; the ability to switch forms, heal yourself, DPS and tank all in the same fight make it incredibly rewarding to walk away from a battle that most other classes could not make druid a class that I will never again underestimate.
