If I read that patch note right, does that mean we are able to freeze more then one target ? Or if this is not it,what is blizzard implying? (forgive the mispell if there is one)

I noticed it doesn't specify how many targets. Is there a certain amount of targets or is it anyone in the radius of the freezing trap gets freezed? If this is true this will be really nice. When having 3 rogues on you and you lay one of those down and you just freezed all 3.

One Frost Trap will trap one person. However, like it was before 2.3, you can lay down an additional trap and keep two (or more) trapped at once. Generally speaking, two is the most you can trap at once unless you're specced with certain SV talents, at which point some claim they can trap 4.

Three, actually. Lay one down, wait for CD, trap one, lay another and have that go off, then finally pop Readiness and lay a third. Three mobs trapped. And absolutely no practical application whatsoever, because that will make you unable to chaintrap the first target.

Doubletrap however, can be very viable in instances, for difficult pulls. You trap two to begin with, burn down a mob, and keep chaintrapping your first target while the second is being dealt with.

doubletrapping and the fact that almost anything can be trapped makes hunters good cc.

Well im certainly glad they changed it back.

Being able to trap 2 mobs in a tight spot is really one of the things that made hunters stand out. Our cc is more difficult and often times less reliable (resist and early break wise) than lets say a mage. also our cc has to be placed more carefully and when chaintrapping comes into play you as a hunter are always thinking ahead about the positioning of your traps.

So im glad they brought it back. we work hard so we deserve a benifit.

We can, and I've done it, but it's completely pointless to do other then to say you've done it. With NorthAI's strategy coupled with 2 pieces of Beast Lord Gear, you just wait for your cooldown to pop after your third target is trapped and lay a 4th immediately and trap your 4th mob. However you only have a 6 second window (max) before all your other traps start to break off. But it makes for a great screenshot/background where you're the only hunter with 4 trapped mobs.
