Just curious, for those who have alts (or if your druid is your alt), what other classes do you play and how do they compare to your druid (personally for you)? I'm interested in what other classes people think are good or bad matches for people who love druids.
Forex, you'd think a feral druid would like playing rogue also, but I've been ruined for rogues by my druid. The basic questing/grinding playstyle is too similar, and I am constantly comparing the two and saying, but if I wanted to do this, I'd just play my druid. (I know that's not really fair to the class, just my personal experience.) I've had 3 rogues now that I've started and stopped playing, and I'm unlikely to try again.
I'm a definite altaholic. I leveled a paladin to 10 last week just so I could say I've played every class up to at least 10. I'm also forever playing them up to 20 or 30 and then deleting them cause I don't like their name or their hair and starting over. Right now my favorite alts are low level, but such as they are:
- Undead fire mage, level 22. I like this one because the glass cannon is so much different from how I usually play, it makes a nice change when I want to mix things up. Plus Undead rock.
- Draenai resto shaman, level 19. I like hybrid classes; this has a lot of the same flexibility I love so well in my druid, but it's different enough or me to enjoy it for its own sake. I'm leveling her up Resto just for fun. I think this is the best class for leveling in the healing spec, frankly, and the survivability is great.
- Human holy priest, level 27. I actually don't love my priest that much and would never play her solo. This is my family "dungeon party" character for the couple times a month we have time to group up for an instance.
And of course...
- Tauren druid, level 3. :D I love this one because she reminds me so much of my night elf druid. (Well, I'm going to hit 70 some day and I'm mostly just going to putter with crafting and farming til the expansion comes out; I will need an active druid!)
