Can I start Kara and Heroics :: Free Realms

Hey all, I am almost attuned for Kara, and my guild is starting soon. Possibly the next 1-2 weeks. I am pretty sure my gear is good enough for heroics, and maby for Kara. Please check out my armory and see if I am good to start, or if I need to pick up some other pieces before I get in there. My armory is http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Gul%27dan&n=Tiddly and I am currently trying to get the sword from murmur and S1 OH. I am also going to switch my glove enchant to Spell Hit. I know my hit is low and my crit is low, but I have decent HP/Mana and Spl Dmg. Mind I also do a good bit of PvP so I am staying frost. Which pieces should I switch out first or before Kara? Thanks.

Only things I would consider before Kara would be trying to get Spellstrike Hood/Pants, these make a huge difference, and maybe trying a 10/0/51 Frost instead of the 0/5/56. The 10 in arcane will help dramatically in mana efficiency, but I would lose the 5 in fire either way and do 10/0/51 or 0/0/61. Also, Veiled Noble Topaz is a great gem, I would suggest getting some of those as well. Otherwise, your dmg should be fine for starting Kara. The sword from Murmur is very nice, I'm working for s2 dagger for my upgrade. You will gear up a lot in Kara, so crit will come as well.

Yea the build was just a practice, something i was messing around with. Plan on switching back to 10/0/51 or even a 2/0/59

I definitely say your quite fine for heroics, but i actually would suggest taking on some heroics do the daily every day and maybe another for a week than maybe tone it down but keep doing em than start some kara. I think its alot more likely that you'll do better farther in with heroic+kara gear not just kara+tailor+pvp+reg instances and quest. Given with that gear you would do fine on horseman which drops some nice spell hit gloves and some okay bracers. Also take the badges you get from the heroics and daily and get that off hand and some other gear.

Bottom Line:Do heroics, than kara.
