You know how most people will say combat swords for PvE and combat maces for PvP? Those are two completely different builds, and I bet you dont like stepping out of an arena to pay (possibly) 50g for a respec for kara or whatever.
I was thinking about a build that has 3-4 points in both those weapon specs and just switching weapons. Maybe have a 2 swords, 2 maces, or a sword and a mace. I came up with a 19/42/0 build that has 4 in each with DW spec, BF, combat potency, and AR. It doesnt look like you give up a whole lot for it.
Let me know what you think, I welcome and criticism.

I'm combat maces and I most certainly do not respec for pve. Swords are better for pve, but that's not to say that maces are bad. I manage myself quite well in heroic runs and more than once a lucky mace stun has saved a healers *** or stopped a cast when my cooldowns or kicks weren't up.
Just because maces are great for PvP doesn't mean they aren't viable for PvE.

You are very correct there. I wasnt bashing combat maces on PvE, I was suggesting a unique alternative to the general concensus that runs these boards.
You losing about 5% DPS (I think thats what the numbers work out to) as Combat Maces over Combat Swords. So you either accept it or you respec. Your spec is a bit lacking as the lack of 2 points into WeaponX. 4/4 is kind of pointless when you have Deep Sub and/or Hemo utility.
