Well I've been leveling my shaman as enhancement for the past 55 levels and I really want to try soemthing different on him either going elemental or resto but equally I dont want to have a crappy time leveling. I've leveld a war from 1-70 as prot and dident think it was that bad so i come to you for advice would respecing to resto be a good idea? or even elemntal?

I would wait. I just switched to resto at 63 from enhancement and it's much slower soloing. I do love it though. I just hit earth shield and melee them to death. End with full health. Plus it's easier to find groups for instances as a healer. I tried elemental and didn't like it, but that's mostly because I have a caster dps class already.
I would suggest you start collecting resto gear once you hit outlands and then make the switch edit: mid sixties.

Thanks for the advice and I probably will hold off just a little longer atleast till water sheild. Thanks again good luck and happy hunting
