i checked the mage FAQs (the link to AoE grinding spots), but only found 'vultures in hellfire peninsula' among the comments. i'm wondering what other mobs in outlands are ripe for AoE grinding?

this is my second character to outlands. i don't really care to quest HFP & zang again... besides, i get a thrill from AoEing mobs. yesterday, i couldn't resist the temptation as i rode past those vultures along the road in HFP. now i think i'm going to respec with more points in frost (my mana is very tight).

i will likely take up questing again, because i've never done quests in blades edge mountains. regardless, i'd like to know where the good AoE spots are (in case i happen across more rested xp than i know what to do with)

also in HF you have a ridge by the ruins with ghosts south of HH,20 or so mobs standing on a line waiting for you.
easiest aoe spot i found leveling 1-60 :)

after this i respeced tho but seen the heap in netherstom aoed with sucess

nagrand should work, clefthoofs,vultures

dont remember if the boglords in zang have any ranged if not those should be good aswell

The felguard- and succubus-type type mobs north of Thrallmar in HFP can be AoE'ed as well. I tried them out just last night. Avoid the green guys that wonder around the towers (the ones that throw saw blades at you). And if you move far enough away from the Fel Cannons as you're gathering mobs, they wills stop shooting you.
