Ok, So now that I've gotten to 58 on my pally, I still dont really seem to find a talent tree I really really enjoy, tho i do really enjoy my pally.

I dunno, maybe I am not quite sure how to dps as ret, or tank as prot. Holy spec is fun, and really nice heals, except i already have a 4/5 t4 resto druid.

So whats your guy's (n gals) advice? Prot,Holy or Ret for OL? Im on a Low pop server btw.

Try them all. I've played all three specs. Currently I'm Ret only because it's a lot of fun. But I had lots of fun with Holy as well. I played Prot, but to be honest, I never had the chance to really tank.

You can spec the holy in such a way that the spell damage is pretty good. Here is an example of a "shockadin" build:

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/paladin/talents.html?0555300052013253105105000000000000000000000523000000000000000000

You can tweek it anyway you like, but you get the idea.

The important thing is to find the build that you have the most fun with. Once your find the spec you enjoy the most, you'll find a way to make it work. Hope that helped.

If you're sick of healing, try Prot. Go into Zeg'thor, and pull a bunch of mobs. 20 minutes later, they will be dead, and you will be left standing :)

Seriously though, no one can answer that question. If you want to heal, go Holy. If you want to tank, go Prot. If you want to DPS, go Ret.

Do whatever is most fun.

I just stepped into Outlands for the very first time last night myself. I'm now replacing my old world epics with Outland greens :O :P (goodbye Wall of the Dead, you served me well *sniff*).

I have to ask, how did you level all the way to 58 without getting an idea of what pally spec you like?

Oh, well, i just played him a bit here and there (heh look at my sig)

I think ill try the "shockadin" thing for a bit.

I think ret might be fun, can anyone point me to a >good< ret guide/build?
for example, im not really sure if i should be stacking str/agil or spell dmg, or a mixture etc. (might be why i suck at ret, still wearing lvl 34-45 junk idk)
