I just hit 70 this past weekend. WHoooooooo hOoOOooooOo. Anyway,

Which leads me to some basic Arena questions. Here are some information about my character.

LVL 70 Warrior
17/44/0 spec'ed
CrazyCalf is my character's name if you wnat to look up the armory (which I can't access atm).

So - to make this a bit easier, I'll list in order the questions that I have.

1. Do I join an Arena like a BG by speaking to the appropriate NPC to que up?
2. With it being PvP based, are DPS warriors more prefered than Prot. warriors. Or, do I need to respec?
3. I can't access the armory right now - so is there another site that I can study the rewards?
4. Do I have to drop my current guild for a Arena team? I would assume I would not b/c I think they operate like a group.
5. I have heard of S1 or S2 gear classifications - what is this, are they arena based?

6. It has been suggested I change my spec to MS - which is arms if I remember. Is there any DW Fury Warriors that do Arena? Or, are they all arms spec?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Now that I have hit 70, I want to focus on some of the better gear.

Thanks
B

1) Arena is like a group BG. The leader queues everyone up at the same time. You can 'solo queue' but it's a joke and nobody does it - you earn no points, etc. You need to either find or form a team to do it.

2) Arms is heavily preferred compared to Fury because the MS debuff is invaluable, and you get more burst DPS - both of which are desirable.

3) http://www.wowhead.com/?search=gladiator

4) No. It's actually like a guild, but you can be in a guild and three arena teams (one for 2v2, one for 3v3, one for 5v5) at the same time.

5) S1 is Gladiator, S2 is Merciless Gladiator, S3 is Vengeful Gladiator. They're different sets of armor purchased with Arena Points (but S1 is now available for purchase with just Honor, not Arena Points).

6) See above. You can do... well, poorly as Fury, but at the beginning it might not matter much.

Definitely. I did a practice battles with another arms warrior. We annihilated every single match up. He was the same arms warrior who I tagged along with in AV earlier when we were both 60 and the two of us took #1 and #2 in damage out of both sides. It was mostly him doing the *** kicking but I did my fair share.
