How should I lvl my PaladinFollow

So I have always played WOW as either a rougue, or a warrior, but me and my friends just all started playing, and for a chnage I decided to take on the role of the Paladin. I was just wondering what would be the best way to lvl up, and tech up for my guy, in the group we have a warrior, priest, rogue, and mage, should I become a compliment to both the warrior, and the priest, or is the another route for me.

first of all, have you read the stickies? they have a lot of good info...
secondly, what spec is the warrior and priest? if the warrior is dps then you should probably go prot. if the priest is shadow, try holy. if they're prot and holy, you can try the ret tree. it is good for dps despite what some say, but i won't say its easy dps.
