I'm lost at to what my new build will be next patch. I played muti and enjoyed that tremendously. I have now switched to HARP and I'm slowly adapting to it (finally winning some arena fights with a pally healer, man that's a hard team to win with). Yes, i know my arena ratings suck, please do not consider those :P
ok, on the one hand we have this build.
I'm thinking this could be better ? Keep in mind that this should preferably function as arena build paired with a pally healer and decent to good PVE damage.
Pro's / con's first build (not keeping in mind the difference between mace's and swords, please). Please also keep in mind that this is for an Orc rogue for both builds.
Pro's build 1 :
- surprise attacks
- combat potency 5
- aggression 3
Con's build 1 :
- vile poisons 1 (if you could call this a con ?)
Pro's build 2 :
- fleet footed
- quick recovery
- nerves of steel
- vile poisons 4
Ok, please bear with my as i analyze this. Is the 15 energy generation of combat potency and undodgebleness (is this even a word?) of attacks plus the 10% damage better than the mobility that fleet footed and quick recovery offers in arena ? I think nerves of steel are an absolute need for arena rogues, i have specced HARP this patch and found i don't get feared a lot with nerves of steel in that build. I think i absolutely need fleet footed to have a chance at capturing Druids. I miss this in my current HARP build after coming from a muti build. Could also be a psychological thing tho :P I hate moving slowly :) I think the first build still does more damage, just checking the damage multipliers ?
In conclusion to my own findings, i think build one is more suited for PVE and build 2 more for PVP ? Is build 2 viable for PVE in any case ? Viable meaning doing almost the same damage as build 1 ? It seems to be the more fun build to me. If the damage output difference is amazingly high, ill just keep build 1 as template for what I'll do next patch.
Ok, please shoot me down now, i'm just looking for a non cookie-cutter build atm.
