I have swords and I am playing around with a hybrid Hemo spec. Any idea which talent would ultimately be responsible for more damage, 5 pts in Lethality or 5 pts in Sword Specialization?

Swords, without a doubt.

It's not even close, swords is basically = a 1% dps gain per pt in the talent and it scales incredibly well with raid buffs, while lethality is at best a .5% increase unless your crit % is 35%ish. And if you don't have swords atm go 5/5 in deadliness rather than lethality, lethality is one of the worst per talent pt dps modifiers.

How about Sword Specialization vs. Deadliness?

Sword spec even then. You just can't underestimate the absurd potential of a 5% chance to hit the target again.

EDIT: Unless you have some amazingly ridiculous AP amount. I.E 3000+ maybe?

Actually according to the latest spreadsheet deadliness is slightly better than sword spec pt for pt, however there is no spec where you can have 5/5 deadliness while maintaining 11/21/x, best you can do is 4/5 which isn't as good as 5/5 in swords or 4/5 in swords and 1/2 in wpn expertise.
