AR/prep after the nerfFollow

Is it still viable? I love having two vanishes, two imp sprints, etc....

Would someone who still likes AR/prep switch from hemo to SS?

Is AR/prep garbage without the second AR?

I feel like having a second AR was only a small part of the nice utility of this build. Combat builds only have one AR. Granted this build has less damage than full combat, but aren't all those sweet sub talents worth it?

With maces, of course.

Yes its going to be bad because you are missing a 2nd DPS burst. Blizzard just needs to undo all the Prep nerfs and move that skill down to the 41 point talent spot.

Yeah trade it with ShS. Then i can get shs and AR. that would be cool.

Yeah and pick up blind. I really don't understand why Blizzard hasn't moved this talent yet. You would think moving this talent would be easier than repeatedly nerfing it. In addition you can pick up mobility with ShS and make builds around that.

The problem is that 31 Prep is too OP as the original, UP as the current state (2.3) and 41 ShS is utterly crap (even with the new patch).

They should just change the name of prep to

'Kinda prepared'
Requires 20 points in Subtlety.

The rogue enter combat being kinda somewhat prepared. This reset cooldown of some of his talents. Maybe.

Would be more accurate.

There was a Sinister Strike/AR/Prep build before the Hemo nerf.

It was judged inferior to full combat.

Now that AR and prep don't work together anymore, I doubt it'll work better.

Perfect. I still say un-nerfing prep and switching it with shadowstep would be an amazing buff to rogues and a pretty big buff to full sub too. Blizzard just doesn't seem to like the idea of rogues with warrior abilities, cause then they might be on the same level with their lovechild in arena combat

Hehe, the idea of having both AR and Shadowstep makes me giggle.

But hmm... nobody in their right mind would 41 in Sub with prep as the last talent. Unless it was made to reset ALL cooldown (i.e Blind, CloS and even Gouge, Kidney Shot and Kick!)... and even then.

erm, wasnt the nerf to prep aking AR of its list of refreshes? if "un-nerfed" an put at 41 you couldnt even spec into AR making the nerf just the same... unless there is more nerfs to it im unaware of, you guys dont make much sense.

If Prep and ShS were switched, you could go 0/31/30 and grab SHS and AR.

I think that'd be a fairly powerful and FUN build.

We're just daydreaming here :P.

just saying why add "un-nerf prep" when unnerfing it effects nothing if its a 41 talent. its been said repeatedly on the forums and it doesnt make any sense to me, knitpick more than anything. yeah shs+ar would be cool. very cool.

That was my point too. Why bother keeping AR on prep if prep is 41 pts deep.

oh wtf combat maces ftw

looks like thats the plan mayhem. It's sad indeed. I really got a lot of use out of that build outside of double ARs.

Un-nerf prep as in make it how it was in old world.

Reset every cooldown. Prep used to be the balls. EVERY cooldown was reset: cloak, blind, etc. Returning it to its former glory would make it a formidable arena build (at least somewhat). Think of having two blinds in one arena fight.
