Well, I had never really thought about this, but...I have come to a point where I have more than a few pieces for some of my slots. I had always focused on just staying uncritable, uncrushable, and getting my health up as high as I could...but now I can do those, and change other stats around.
I'll list the stats of some of my sets, that I have put together, each focusing on different stats.
Set 1 : (possibly my set for main tanking) Uncritable, Uncrushable, 23% dodge, 16% parry, 19% block, 14.5k health, 315 block value, 267 spell damage, 4443 mana.
Set 2 : (possibly for offtanking/tanking trash) Uncritable, Uncrushable, 21% dodge, 16.5% parry, 20% block, 13.5k health, 272 block value, 298 spell damage, 5163 mana.
Set 3 : (possibly for aoe tanking) (dragonhawk boss :P ?) Uncritable, 0.14 from Uncrushable (nothing kings cant fix, assuming we have another pally to give it to me in the raid, me keeping sanctuary up), 16% dodge, 16% parry, 23.5% block, 14.5k health, 370 block value, 270 spell damage, 4728 mana.
Do those sets sound right?..or am I aiming for the wrong stuff in the wrong situations..or should I just need one set for all situations?
I guess what I'm really looking for, is what stats to shoot for in different situations. Should I just get high block rating and value and not worry about dodge?..because dodge = no aggro, and block = more damage/threat/aggro. (Block value is constant damage reduced, and dodge is only sometimes damage avoided)..Or should I not worry about being uncrushable, when aoe tanking, or tanking trash?..(Of course would keep a set to main tank in, where I am uncrushable)
P.S. My spell damage is kind of low..getting the ZA eagle boss's mace soon, I hope..7 runs and haven't seen it yet....I dare a SP to roll against me :P
EDIT: Bolded the main stats for each set and underlined the low stats.
