Good evening fellow Shaman, first allow me to introduce myself. I have a Warlock main whom I've dabbled in PvP with a bit (60k HKs) and one of the things that has always irked me was the common lament that I was playing a class in which skill was unnecessary. Not that the opinions of others really affect me that much (this is a game after all) but to test myself I decided to roll a class that (according to my peers) was the worst in PvP.
Thus, Zenzaki (Scarlet Crusade server) the Troll Elemental Shaman was born. Before I get to my question, I want to put in that so far I've yet to see evidence that we really are the worst in PvP, granted, I've noticed the things we lack that other classes don't, mainly CC (other than snares) and mobility, but in the right hands I can see the Shaman class as truly having potential for destruction. But most importantly (to me, at least) this class is FUN.
Now, on to my question, I'm currently bracket camping at 29, to get the points and marks I'll need for BG gear at 38. Well, going over the rewards on the WoW site I've noticed the Arathi Basin gear wearable by Shaman (not armor type, the items list what classes can specifically use them) and I've noticed the only gear I get from that Battleground have stats like Agi and Attack Power, which I have little interest in as an Elemental, so my question is....is this accurate? If I want to wear Battleground gear am I stuck with their non-Elemental itemization? Will my only option to find gear (that I prefer) to wear in Battlegrounds be AH-bought, or dropped from instances? I sincerely hope not, as I intend to level quickly and spend my _8's and _9's in BGs.
Thanks in advance.
P.S. Before I forget, I just wanna add that Paracleet's FAQ has been very helpful to me and should be stickied, TYVM.
