Pet bar glitch? Follow

First, hello all, I am new around here. Thanks for the great site.

I have a lvl 42 NE hunter with a cat as primary pet. Prior to discovering this site, I was guilty of being a bit of a huntard...anyway on to my problem.

Cat came with Cower 1 when tamed. Before realizing I had to use a pet trainer to untrain pet I picked up cower icon and destroyed it. Then tried to train prowl, said too many skills, went to pet trainer to untrain skills, retrained all 4 active skills. Problem: Prowl icon did not show up on pet bar.
Untrained pet again, re-trained, this time Dash icon did not show up. I have tried dismissing pet and re-summoning to no avail.

I realize that it is not as important to be able to turn off Dash as it is to be able to control the other skills, but it would be nice to have the option to do so. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Did I mess up my pet control bar by destroying the Cower icon before untraining?
Untraining and re-training pet is getting expensive.

Sorry that's so long, and thanks in advance...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think if you hit 'P' to go into your talents and click on the pet tab, you should be able to manually drag the icon for dash down to the action-bar.

Hopefully the 4th spot is still "there," just not showing. If this doesn't fix it, I'm sorry... but I hope it helps!

Ahh...my huntard-ness strikes again. I forgot about the pet tab; I was trying to drag the icon out of the beast training box...lol. Anyway, it's fixed. Thanks very much!

You're also the victim of a persistent and random bug. Sometimes when training your Pet the 4th active ability will not show up on the Pet Bar. It should, and you shouldn't have to resort to the Spell Book to fix it, but at least you have that work around to the bug.
