Hello everyone and happy new year
I have a lvl 70 undead lock that i mostly PvP battlegrounds with. I am in mostly season one arena gear missing just a couple pieces. I am demo specd.
So far i have not socketed any gems into my gear. My question is simply, what do i concentrate in...stamina?
spell damage??? ...penetration??? ...resiliance??
Any suggestions would really be appreciated.

For normal gems you want stam and resilience, unless an item has such a good socket bonus that you need a different color. Even then, get a dual-color with stam or resilience in it.

Then you have a nice choice of a few meta gems. I'd actually suggest the Destructive Skyfire Diamond.

I like the steady talasite gems in my yellow or blue sockets, 4 resilience and 6 stam. In red sockets I use 9 spell damage gems.

One day when I have 12.5k health and 400 resil through gear, I'll regem completely. MSD meta socket, a single purple gem (spell dmg/stam), the rest red spell damage gems ignoring bonuses. The purple gem is only there to satisfy the MSD meta requirement.

4resiliance, 6 stam are your crack cocaine, take as many as you can. pvp gear is full of blue and yellow sockets with resiliance bonuses and these gems give you everything you need.
