I've hit 70 after 2 years of casual playing, i got mostly blue armor and weapons, i'm gonna need some better gear and weapons so i'm looking for a build and weapon combo for pvp/pve/instances/raids etc, i'm combat sword specced at mo.

Anyway, your question has been answered a thousand times. Combat swords for PvE, Combat Maces for PvP (after 2.3.2), use thottbot to find gear because I don't feel like listing off two dozen pieces of gear and where to get them.

Thats not 2 years on one character, i've played others but my rogue is my only 70.
Combat Swords would be what ya want.

Is what I'm using, I sacrificed the sexyness of Imp SnD for Relentless Strikes and Imp. Sprint so I'd be a bit better in PvP.
The swords you'd want are Latro's in OH from BM.
MH there are a few choices I suppose.
S1 if you don't mind grinding BGs til ya cry.
Edge of the Cosmos from Mech is pretty good too. Especially since you should be going for the trinket from there anyways.
Felsteel Longsword appears to be a good choice if you don't mind spending more money then is reasonable.
And then there is Spiteblade from Nethersprite in Kara.
If you don't mind the BGs the S1 sowrd is the best, period.

Well, depending on luck, you could have it in as little as 2 weeks, at 1-2 hours a day. It's a dead cert to get, any way you look at it.

Edge is good, but massively far behind the S1 sword in every single way, you may need to grind it for a while, hunters and warriors will roll on it too, Arca needs a flying mount (which you may not have yet). The Abacus is a must, as noted.

Very nice piece, but if you are as casual as you sound, Karazhan might be out of your league at the moment; I suggest grinding (or buying) rep with The Aldor for the Vindicator's Brand. It looks like ***, but has the stats and damage range you're looking for.
Another quick question how do i change from scryer to alder?

Forgive me for such a stupid comment, I tottaly didn't realize it was onlt 2.2 speed.
Thankfully I will never have the money to make that mistake.
dredfang venom sacs are what you farm to reverse rep with aldor scryer. it sucked I went from exalted scryers to exalted aldor.

AV weekend for the win! Took me 2 days to get my S1 dagger... unfortunately took me 4 days of eyes bleeding to get my S1 sword >.<
