What gear to pull of MM/SV ?Follow

#1 Jan 05 2008 at 5:12 AM Rating: Decent
Hey guys and gals :)
Im currently a 68 hunter, and im getting really really bored with BM, ive been BM for sooo many levels now he he
And as effective as BM is, its just to damn easy :D
What kind of gear do you need to pull of a a MM/SV spec ?
My gear consist of some greens and some blues.
Sadly I cant give you a armory link as I transferred server not long ago.
But from what ive heard so far, and read you need really good gear to pull of a survival spec ?
Thanks in advance.

MM not so much but SV relises on so much AGI, so the less AGI you got the the weaker the SV Spec... MM is about halve / halve i'd say...

But, i would do some heroics, and get some Kara gear before the swap tbh as it does consist on Pretty Heafty gear to pull off SV well...

You can easily spec MM.
For soloing it wont really matter much (well, besides it going some slower)
And in instances you'll do better as 0/43/18 or 0/21/40.

For SV you really should have about 450-500 agility (before speccing SV) without seriously gimp;ing your other stats, else you wont get the benefits.
And i wouldnt advise SV unless you really like instancing because a mix of weak pet and spiky damage (crits) is bad for solo ;P

True, you can't afk farm as SV. But bad for solo? Nah. More challenging, yes. But also, more fun at times.

Then again, I went from MM to SV, so having a personal, never-lose-aggro pet wasn't something I had relied on before.

If you're BM and want to see what SV is like solo, turn growl off and start every attack with aimed shot. That's pretty much how SV is with growl on and normal shooting.
