Getting Exalted with CenarionFollow

So my Druid is getting pretty close to Outlands, and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on how to get exalted quickly with Cenarion (other than spamming instances) so I can get the Earthwarden mace as I hope to become an effective Druid tank at end game with potential to become better.

Maybe a guide also, whatever helps.

Also, I'm wondering if the post by Anathor in this thread is good enough to start tanking Kara with? I don't expect it to be, maybe normal 5-mans, but who knows, I don't know jack-sh*t about Druids, and it just could be good enough for Kara.

I appreciate your helpful advice in advance.

1) Complete guide at http://www.wowwiki.com/Cenarion_Expedition
2) You can tank just fine for the foreseeable future by picking up Braxxis Staff of Slumber in the AH for 40-50g and slapping +35 agility on it if you have the money for that enchant. Even if you dedicate yourself to grinding out CE rep it'll be a LONG time coming...long enough that BSoS is worthwhile.

Per the thread itself, which many have agreed with and linked to in other threads, yes: "the point of this list is exactly to give ppl a sample of easily obtainable gear with which they can meet the requirements for Kara."

since you are saying close to outlands, I assume you are not yet 70.
Getting exalted is in my experience a lot easier than I'd expected.
In one day I netted over 8k rep (think it was heroic sp and ub + a few normal SV).

I did all the zangarmarsh quests and the hellfire ones while leveling,
but if you can find the xp elsewhere, a better choice could be to grind
slave pens and underbog until you get no more rep from trash, then find your xp
elsewhere. Once you hit 67+, start doing SV if you can get a dps spot
(or maybe even tank with a good healer, I think I tanked it at 68 with crap gear).

The biggest chunk of rep you need is revered -> exalted ofcourse, but if you
skipped all the quests before, you can burn through them pretty fast since they
are almost 10 levels beneath you, and you also get the added benefit of bonus cash
at 70 since you no longer get xp.

I know a guy who was exalted in less than 3 weeks after BC came out
(including levelling to 70). Heroic SP is probably a lot less rewarding repwise
now that everyone skips all the trash, but SV is ok.

The easiest way to get to Exalted would be to skip all the CE rep quests until after you're honored. The non-heroic version of these instances stops giving rep after that (except for the bosses and the bog giants in UB). Then you can finish the quests in Hellfire and Zanga, and when you get to Blades Edge, there are some more CE quests.

Here's a list of the gear I think I had when I started heroics.

Head: Stylin' Purple Hat (Crafted, LW)

Neck: Mark of the Ravenguard (Brother against Brother quest, Sethekk Halls)

Shoulders: if you like to PvP, get the Gladiator's Dragonhide Shoulders, if not, Shoulderpads of Assassination (Sethekk Halls, Talon Lord Ikiss)

Back: Thoriumweave Cloak (The Mechanar, Mechano-lord Capacitus)

Chest: Heavy Clefthoof Chest (Crafted, LW)

Wrists: Umberhowl's Collar (Quest chain in SMV, starts with The Hand of Gul-Dan, the quest in the chain you need is )

Hands: Verdant Gloves (Quest chain in SMV, The Ata'mal Terrace)

Waist: Manimal's Cinch (Quest chain in SMV)

Legs: Heavy Clefthoof Leggings

Feet: Heavy Clefthoof Boots

Rings: Iron Band of the Unbreakable x2 (Old Hillsbrad, Lt Drake)

Trinket1: Adamantine Figurine (Shadow Labyrinth, Blackheart the Inciter)
Trinket2: Charm of Alacrity (Quest chain in Hellfire, In Case of Emergency...)

Weapon: Braxxis Staff of Slumber or Earthwarden

It's worth saying that in Kara, there are some boss fights where you need 2 tanks, and some where you need 1. You should always have a set of cat DPS gear with you.

Buy unidenitified plants from AH and hand them in before doing any CE quests.

You can get to honored doing just that.

You're then talking 10k+ rep in quests and just get the rest with quick SV runs. A competent group can do it in 30-35 mins.

Definitely do the plant thing, you can get to Honored just with them. The do the quests to get to revered, you'll only have to farm < 21K to Exalted in instances and doing SV you can collect the Coilfang Armaments which get you a repeatable hand in too, although only 75 rep per hand in, which is stupid imho for the rarity of the item.

the plants also give the chance of a bop quest item for another bit of rep forgot if it's +250 or +100/ hand in.

pps ignore what they say about talbark hide shoulders in the link there.
just run enough bg for the gladiator's dragonhide and the gladiator helm. if you consider the two you 'll see which is better specially for pre kara drops.

look up thunderrunne frostmourne under armory I'm currently in pre kara (cept for hat) gear to tank (though I got the centurion rep for the staff)

As far as getting gear together to start tanking Heroics/Raids, this post from Emmerald's forums is as good as it gets :)
