Perhaps an overly dramatic title, but before you judge, look at this...

+200 agility?! WTF! On a live server (Lethon). Simply someone that replaced a file in their database? Glitched item? I wonder how many people reported the guy trying to sell it.

Someone told me that it's possible to modify a loot window and put the altered loot into a chat channel, but how would you be able to sell it (which was what the guy was trying to do)?

Hope that someone was dumb enough to not look at it in the trade window?

Well, I use thotbott for some of my lookups, and there is a code to post items in game. My guess is that some programmer (im using that word rather loosely) modified the script to show whatever stats he/she wanted. That's just my guess.

EDIT- However, when I try to link the thotbott scripts in game, the client crashes.

i see bugged item stats like that happen all the time

like "Merciless Gladiator's Slicer of the Prophet" with a extra set of prophet stats

but all that stat stuff is server side i believe, thats a graphic edit at most... and a g-errrrror! most likely

A while ago ( Though fixed in 2.3 methinks) there was some grey leggings, that when Control + Click'ed would show your character... Bottom naked, of course since the programmers didnt make intimate parts for the characters, you dont see anything, just pixelated bareness.

Disturbing, actually...

It's a buggy item link, the item is 100% normal. Mods can make these, and it can even be done manually. A foreign language link will also cause bugs like this. The one I see most often is a spanish Don Santos' Famous Hunting Rifle, which has some ridiculous stats.
