i started arena recently and i have a couple of questions:

1. seems like a lot of top arena warriors chose the talent booming voice over unbridled wrath. i have my thoughts, but would like to hear from you guys as to why the preference.

2. in 3v3 and 2v2, which is more prefered/better? commanding shout or battle shout? i have always been using commanding shout.

thanks for the help. really appreciate it.
:)

The answers to your questions depend highly on the arena bracket that you participate in (2v2, 3v3, 5v5), and what the rating of your team is.

The reasons are as follows:

1. Unbridled wrath is a mediocre talent for 2h warriors (since almost all arena warriors use some form of MS build). Your attacks are simply too slow for UW to proc enough times for it to be worthwhile in any way (i.e. enough rage to perform some other attack), whereas increasing the duration of your shouts by 50% may mean that you do not have to worry about reapplying that buff and wasting rage and a GCD.

2. The answer to this question depends highly on the makeup of your team, although I'd still tend to lean towards Commanding Shout. Everyone benefits from CS, whereas only melee will benefit from BS. Stam is king in arena, and a 1K HP buff is really nice.

Without knowing what arena you participate in and what your rating is, it's hard to say for sure what is better, but those are generally the guidelines that I would use.

is there a mod/addon which will alert you that, for example, a mage (not your current target) is targetting you and casting polymorph? it would be very helpful in arena. thx.

I think Arena Unit Frames has a cast bar on it, but it's not like DBM that will flash castbars in the middle of your screen.

isnt DBM deadly boss mod? if so... i thought it only works on raid bosses and in different battlegrounds (like node in AB, gy in AV etc)?

i like to be able to know what not-my-current-target is casting on me, example cyclone or polymorph or any damaging spells, while i am targeting someone else... that way, i can cast spell reflect accordingly.

also, can someone explain to me what's this Focus thing is all about? i have xperl unit frame and there is one tab with Focus title on it. i heard about this /focus macro. i heard about some mod/addon with focus function it. i couldnt find any info on it.

thx.

No no, I'm not saying that I use DBM for Arenas, I'm just comparing the cast bar from Arena Unit Frames to the ones you'd see from DBM.

After a certain amount of time has passed, two diamond-like things will appear somewhere in the arena. Picking one of these up greatly increases your stealth detection, and makes you immune to various CC, but it acts like a DoT.

i know it's kinda off topic but i rather post it here than start a new thread in warrior forum.
