Fans of my mouse-turning keybinding guide may like to check out what I'm up to now. This...this is rather weird.
I have a seven button mouse and I've mapped the two thumb-buttons to strafe left and strafe right, respectively - thereby making all running, turning, and strafing, functions of my mouse hand. My left hand is now free to dance all over the keyboard.
In Combat
1 - Stealth
w - Hemorrhage
s - Shiv
a – Gouge
d - Kick
Shift w - Kidney Shot
Shift s - Rupture
Shift a - Slice and Dice
Shift d - Eviscerate
Alt w - Expose Armor
Alt s - Envenom
Alt a - Throw
Alt d - Deadly Throw
G - Bandage
While In Stealth
1 - Unstealth
w- Cheap Shot
s - Garrote
a - Sap
d - Distract
Alt a - Throw
Alt d - Deadly Throw
Long Cooldowns
MW Up - Evasion
MW Down - Sprint
e - Blind
r - prep
x - Cloak of Shadows
c - Vanish
Top Mouse -
Will of the Forsaken
Bottom Mouse - Medallion of the Horde

Interesting, hows that working out for you? I couldn't give up my WASD buttons. I have a similiar mouse and I bound auto-run to a side button, but it just feels awkard trying to toggle autorun back and forth in PVP

do any of you guys know if the PS3 style USB controllers work with WOW?
would be neat playing on one of those... just need some sick macros to get all those abilities into a limited number of buttons.

qft. sounds horrendous to me, but my keybindings arent far from default.

Fundamentally flawed. You can't look around and move at the same time.

i'd think so, and my hand would be dead if i needed to control everything with it for a couple of hours :\
