Help with imp :: Free Realms

Ok bear with me - I know nothing about Locks.

I started one 'cause have altitis and also wanted an Enchanter on my PvP server.
He's lvl17, but for some reason I can't make the imp auto-attack.

I have tried placing it on aggresive and defensive - but it just sits there unless I click on firebolt (or whatever it's called). Yes I do have training in phase-shift, but it still won't attack even when this is not selected.

Is my toon bugged or am I such a n00b that I am missing something really obvious?

right-click firebolt. The border should start glowing. This is called Auto-Cast and will make him automatically cast it when it is available. Since the Imp has no melee attack, just teling him to attack w/o telling him to cast anything does nothing.

Ah, many thanks.

I've been left-clicking firebolt and it only fires once ^^)

Maybe he just doesnt want to, imps are difficult little bugers :D
