30 seconds, hm? thats a damn long time for your team to take out their healer.

I have to agree that you are kind of ignorant. 30 seconds is nothing for most other healers.... because THEY HAVE CC and some can cast while moving, whereas Shaman doesn't have cc and can not cast while moving.

You attack a priest while their 2 dps are attacking a shaman... the priest just fears people attacking it, heal themself, and I'm dead. Then their dps is taking out 2 players instead of 3 and their healer is still alive.

I usually can't even get 2 heals off before I'm dead because of stuns and/or curses. If I move I can't heal myself, if I stand still I'm dead. Playing resto shaman in 3v3 has been nothing but frustrating for me. I hear it isn't even worth entering 2v2 lol

This is going back a far, far, far while. I owned in BG's, even the first time I entered at level 13.

Yes, we have bad CC, but if you can jump someone.

LOL at what level? 70 bracket, shamans just fall behind other classes in PvP. Whatever strengths we have, others can do it better generally. It's VERY clear in Arenas. Our disadvantages are hidden with the more players we have around us because of the nature of shaman (we buff others and can hide in a group easier), but the smaller the amount of friendly players around you, the more likely you are to be singled out and killed easily.

I can be top healer in BG's, but I still die more than most other healers.

i got booted from my previous guild because i REFUSED to join their 2v2 and 3v3. i tried explaning why shaman arent very viable for either... i always got the reply "skill makes the player not the class, and we need some face melt DPS" i replied with "yes well you also need CC, and with that logic a holy priest can tank BT" "well yes they could, it woulndt be easy but it would be possible"

i joined my guilds 3v3 on a bet that, if we win 6/10 or more i get 3000g, if we lose 5/10 or more i can just leave the team... currently havent done an arena.

ah so we are starting to insult each other now, hmm?
what kind of retarded shaman are you playing if you go down that easily?

Here's an insult so there aren't any things lost in translation:

You are retarded. Take your 6k HK and go sub-1500 in Arenas please.

It isn't IMPOSSIBLE to play as an enh shaman.
Your arena party just has to accept, that your basically a watered down warrior, while having some minor heals.
I think you could still reach 1800 without being a large hinder to your team, if you have a experienced team, and you are all geared well.
It's just...if they would trade you for a warrior(or a rogue)they would do ten times better.

However, if they ask you to join them as enh, do so!.
They probably either don't know, in which case they'll make you a benchwarmer soon, or they just accept the fact and want to try it out.
(or they cant find a warrior/rogue yet :D)

It isn't impossible to carve your Christmas turkey with a wooden spoon either, but it doesn't mean it's a good idea.

Straight-up DPS is about the least important thing in the arena, and that's all Enhancement Shaman have. They don't even beging to qualify as any kind of Warrior, even a watered down one.

Warriors have mobility, CC, CC counters, stuns, heal reduction, and damage that easily matches and/or exceeds our own without having to rely on a 20% proc chance.

You might reach 1800 if your other two teammates are good enough, but you are a large hinderance. You are, in fact, dead weight. There is simply no good reason to ever bring an Enhancement Shaman into the arena. They are way too easy to shut down, too easy to marginalize. If you want to DPS in the arena, go Elemental.
