Arcane Resistance as a Tank? Enchanted Adamantite set for taFollow

Where would Arcane Resistance benefit most a pally tank? Would the Enchanted Adamantite set be a good set of armor in conjunction with the Felsteel set as a tank Kara and beginning Heroics? Mainly I just want to know where Arcane Resistance would benefit a Tank.

I've toyed with getting some pieces of that for HMech just because those Arcane Destroyers hurt. But I get through there OK so it's not really been a priority and now my gear's even better so I probably won't bother.

Now shadow resist... If you plan on tanking HTombs you're probably going to want that more than you'll want arcane resist for anything else.

I dunno why people were rating him down, it is a valid question.

The only reason to stack Arcane Resistance is possibly for the Curator fight, but even then if your healers are somewhat decent there shouldn't be any issues. The enchanted Adamantite set isn't a very good tanking set for doing kara, and if you would like a set of guidelines for tanking kara, check out the FAQ.

Arcane resist for the Curator fight, well that isn't really necessary. A lot of people call it a gear block and it is, dont get me wrong, its not that big of one though, you just need fast focused DPSers who don't panic when they get hit, clickers beware. Proper balance of healers with pot use helps as well.

You don't see arcane resist needed again until Solarian which has been nerfed to the point that you dont really need it.

If you need arcane resist for a heroic, well than you have problems greater than needing arcane resist.
