I know it would be cliche....Follow

but how bad *** would it be if they got C huck Norris to be the rogue spokesman for the new WoW commercials.

Of course...the repercussions could be boundless.

Edit: ROFL...when I put Chuck No rris in the first time, they censored it and replaced it w/ Allakhazam.

The rogue commercial should go,

"I'm Christian Bale, and I'm a rogue"
<Cut to undead rogue purchasing a mace the size of a buick and sighing>
"I work in the shadows"
<Rogue vanishes and then gets attacked by a hunters pet>
"Blizzard used to love me"
<Pre-BC rogue one shots a mage>
"But then something happened"
<Post-BC rogue tries to ambush a pom pyro mage, does no damage, then gets kited and laughed at/wanded to death>
"They started buffing other classes"
<a level 70 rogue is busy putting 41 points into shadowstep while a level 5 warrior keeps charging him>
"And nerfing us"
<A flipbook of blue posts eventually ending with this final quote, "rogues no longer damage other players">
********** you *************** you."

Demea, I want you to really dig down, deep, to your angriest, most creative parts, and give this guy the flame he deserves.

With that logic, no rogues are allowed to whine about warriors until they have a real end-game warrior (not a scrub warrior in greens either).

Rogues that whine about warriors are bad though.

That's the point.

Cloak of Shadow is only a problem if you're a bad mage.

Yes, I rape clothies. It's what I do. But Cloak of Shadows has nothing to do with it. The only time I really use CoS is when I have a full bar of DoTs on me, then I use it to vanish and proceed to beat down the warlock that DoTed me.

Cloak of Shadows is in no way overpowered. It's on a 1 minute cooldown and gives you a 90% chance to resist debuffs for 3 seconds. Buubble is overpowered. Ice Block is overpowered. Cloak of Shadows is a fairly week Oh **** button compared to those two, especially considering that if you NEED to use it in an Oh **** scenario, then you're probably going to have to blow a vanish too.

CoS doesn't help against mages anyway. Mage frost novas you, so you CoS out of it. The mage then counters with a blink > frostbolt > ice block (right when you get back in melee range). BAM! You're standing there waving your **** in the wind. CoS didn't help much against that clothy did it? I'd much rather shadowstep > kidneyshot. Sure, I'm still rooted by frost nova but at least I'm rooted directly behind a stunned mage. You know what that means :D 3 points in improved backstab FTW.

But oh wait, I misread this post. Oh! Lol, sorry. I thought we were talking about Cloak of Shadows. I'm sorry, I wouldn't know what you are talking about as I didn't invest enough points in The Internet is for **** tree to get CoW..

Why would you waste your CoS on a frost nova? Imp Sprint FTW, and it helps close the gap if they blink immediately afterwards as well.

Depends on your spec tbh.

If I had Prep, I would use Sprints and Vanishes to get out of them.

I typically would save Cos as a last resort.

...Both of those are on a 5-minute cooldown, compared to CoS's 1-minute cooldown. Using a Vanish is the same as using Ice Block. Using Preparation is the same as using Cold Snap, without the 30-second Hypothermia debuff.

As Vanish is used offensively, Ice Block is too used offensively to mess up rotations and let the mage get control of the situation as well.

You're right that Cloak of Shadows isn't necessary to be effective against mages. But rogues are known as warlockbane, second only to BM hunters.

Anyways, enough about that. Nuck Chorris would be a combat fists rogue with Improved Kick, methinks.

Which, now that I think of it, should be increased in duration to a 6-8 second silence.
