anyone hoping out there that they would at least finally give us distinctive Travel, Aqua, and ToL form?

Btw, does anyone notice that you can change into Aqua form while in lava? How do you swim in lava anyway?

I'm the type of person who sees any mob out of the ordinary and thinks "I wonder if I can kill it..." even if it's a gigantic elite. Needless to say, I often die very quick yet painful deaths.

So of course, the first time I stepped in Ironforge after getting my aquatic form, I stared at the lava around the forge....

/g Hey guys! You can switch to fish form in lava!...how do I get my body back?

Back to the topic, I hope very much they give us the option to pick a color for our forms. And I'd like to select my markings too. There's many different ways you can customize your characters, but for druids it doesn't matter much as we always get to see the same thing all the time, with no options to change it.

Maybe some ways to change the appearance over time would be nice too. Your gear gets more impressive as you become more powerful, but your forms look just the same at 20 or 70.

I think it would actually be a very cool idea to have the gear thing reflected by fur markings gained at specific levels. Like 1 marking basic, 2 at 40, 3 at 60, 4 at 70, 5 at 80...Or, something along those lines, who knows.

Some color variations and the like would also be awesome, but I bet blizz just has to keep the night elf kitty purple like the skin. Maybe different shades of purple, blue, black...

You would think after 50 lvls in cat form, you would look a little more beatup. Once you hit lvl 70, you should look like a train wreck, with battle wounds and pieces missing from you ears. At the very least we should get bigger like a hunters pet does. Just a thought.

Why would you want to get bigger like Hunter pets? You are already almost as big as a level 70 Cat.

I would like to see the form change, perhaps with the total iLevel of all your gear. So when you see a full T6 druid in form you KNOW he's tough! Not get smashed then think wow he must have good gear (or I suck!)

Meh, I like the idea of appearance changing but not size changing, you are reaching a new plateau in your path of life (Almost sounds like im from a RP server doesnt it?), not getting older

I'd kind of like a little change in the horde cat form =|. I like the alliance cat form better haha, but not enough for me to play alliance.

And yea, I love stopping and looking at other players with impressive gear and such, but when someone's in cat or bear form, I just kind pass them up as "oh another druid..."

No we're not! Besides, they should make us as big as the Clefthooves!

Speaking of which, I wish there was a Clefthoof mount.

You can also change to aquatic form in tar (such as the tar pits in Un'Goro).

Apparently it's just swimming/not swimming, and the liquid doesn't matter, though how you'd breath tar I'm not sure.

what happens when a tauren feral druid runs into a tree?

I had to say it.

*****************

say are the moonkin/tree forms different for tauren druids from nightelves?

They should really make the druids look tougher for every 10th level. More ferocious, marked and hairy with every level.

At level 70-80 maybe some preset skin armor pieces on their head, torso and feet.

For tauren feral cats and bears you could have armor resembling what the stuff the amani bear wears.

For nightelf feral cats and bears you could have armor resenbling the nightelf epic cat mounts. But a bit different and more battle worthy.

and no seats for the love of the earth mother/elune

Please don't make druids bigger. I dislike tanking in those narrow corridors as a bear when the only thing I can see is myself. I can't really think of any good examples of places though, except for the beginning of Scarlet Monastery which you usually do not stay long.

Then again, I do enjoy sitting on top of sitting people. And be being bigger would mean Tauren shoulders don't stick out of my sides anymore when I do so....

Being bigger also makes me look slower.
