From my understanding, spriest/warlock is second best though far easier to pull off. The strongest is rogue/spriest, but harder to pull off.
I'm not sure, but I think UA would be better than SL/SL for spriests just because then you've got two classes who aren't "pure" dps - one is a lot of utility, one is survival., and neither is the overbearing amount of damage of a rogue, warrior, or frost mage.

Thanks for you suggestions, i guess I'll try to find a UA warlock.

Shadow Priest/Rogue also performs well in the bracket, shutting down one opponent with Sap/Blind/Silence/Psychic Scream/Gouge and focusing firing the other.

SP + Warlock has a glass ceiling: many top teams bring Shadow Resist gear they can change into if their opponents are double shadow.

This is kind of off-topic from the original post but is a 2v2 w/ 2 shadow priests viable in the long-run? My buddy and I just started one and are having some success. He has 450 resilience and I only have about 150.

i bet that works so well becuase they can't decide who to focus fire first

pairing w/ a UA warlock is good because ppl won't dispel your DoTs. they can also deathcoil & chain fear. although, if coordinated well, your two screams & two silences would be enough to get the 20 seconds you need to kill someone.

That's pretty much what we do. We'll silence/fear the healer and burn down one person. At that point if we're both standing the other person usually doesn't last long.

That being said when we hit rogues we get owned :(

You can't switch out, but I've heard that by the point you're over 2200 or so it's pretty easy to guess who you'll be up against. Spriest/lock is easier, especially at lower (average) rankings, spriest/rogue has more potential.
