In 2.3.2 or 2.4 I've heard arrows will stack up to 500 instead of 200.
So I've heard.

So in other words, I will have to visit the Ammo Vendor once every third leap year then...

have you heard whether the price per arrow will change? It would be sweet if the stack of 500 costs the same as the stack of 200. Wishful thinking. I doubt it'll happen.

Oh well, 500 arrows x 24-slot quiver = 12,000 Arrows. Jesus.

I'm also thinking about my warrior. Only needing 1-2 stacks and feeling good, rather than keeping 3-4 on me for instances.

I can't see ever needing 500 arrows in a stack with even an 18 slot quiver. I can only shoot so fast, and I make no effort whatsoever to conserve ammunition. Because our guild's MT is a very well geared Pally tank, I can even weave Multi-Shot into my normal rotation from time to time and I still only go through 10-12 stacks of arrows tops from Attumen -> chess. Ya, if they upped the stack size by 250% and kept the price the same as a stack of 200 arrows/bullets, I'd love it. 20 slot ammo pouches/quivers on my realm are not very hot commodities, and I don't recall ever having seen a 24 stack pouch/quiver for sale on auction. Maybe Blizzard has decided that the mats required for these things make them highly inaccessible to all but the most hardcore raiding Hunters and is trying to find a way to give the rest of us a break? Will have to wait and see...

(Assuming there's anything to the rumor at all :P)

When I was BM I burned through tuns of arrows. I mean a whole quiver in like 5 hours or so. Now that I am MM I use maybe 3 stacks a whole grind sitting. about the same time but alot less arrows. Its nice.

I would like this change but don't know if it would matter much. Just more of a convenience thing.

ive found that in the longer raids you acually aregetting pretty close to empty with the old 18slots quivers, however with the 24 one it shouldnt.

now the good thing about this is you can have enough arrows for both raidng and grinding at the same time in the inventory, no need to go to the bank if you get called in a raid while out grinding.(unless your one of those grindig with epic ammo)
