New RogueFollow

A lot of people post on these boards so I thought that asking a question here might get it answered quickly. So my question is for people new to WoW(aka me) is a rogue a good starting class? I would appreciate any helpful advice you can give me, or if I should use another class for staring out. Thank you for your help and have a happy New Years.

It's a matter of preference and with that said in my opinion rogues are an easy class to pickup for a beginner. They kill quickly and dont take alot of skill to learn, but to master them takes alot of skill. Hunters are also another class that is decent for a beginner. Whatever toon you pick and start to like stick with it until the end. This isn't true in all cases but usually the longer you play a class the more you get to learn the ins and outs of it.
