Most days while at work I research upgrades on my items I'd like through the armory and decide what instance I'm going to run on my off days. I planned to do a lot of this today and tommorrow because I'm taking an extra few days off and will have a bit of time to play.
Unfortunately, armory gives me a message saying "It seems like the character you are trying to view hasn't been active for a while. Since the Armory only tracks active characters, this character needs to have been active recently for detailed character data to show up."
I was on 3 hours ago, hell if they are talking about items being updated I got new leggings yesterday... I'm extremely confused, hell I haven't been on my allied char Perek in months but he's showing up on the Armory. All of my others are fine. Even Robiness who was the character I logged on before I left, if the problem was that it was so recently being logged into Rayne.. I dunno why I can't get to Raynebow!?!?! /cry

it aint nuthin more then a glitch same thing is happening to me and my bros chars i was on bout 4 hrs ago and my bro is on at this moment

Yea that's been happening a lot lately for me, but only these past few days.
Had it happen to me not long ago. Just a glitch, nothing major, it eventually works again.

Lately half the people I've armoried have shown up as needing a refresh. It's very frustrating.

It's not just you. I was trying to find out how many people in my main's little guild have the epic flying skill, and I couldn't bring up a couple of the profiles, even one I knew for sure had been on only a few hours before. My explanation?

Damnit. It got to me, too. I wanted to know how far from Revered I am with The Consortium without having to log in. But NOPE! I was on last night, and now I'm apparently not active.

I've noticed this as well, over the last few weeks. I know the Armory is a beta, but that's no reason why its utility should decrease over time.
Ehh... I wouldn't exactly say that it's gone down. It's gotten a lot faster, and they've added a lot of extra features to it. With the type of coding languages and data retrieval that the armory uses, the programmers could have done something that SHOULD work just fine, but just doesn't preform properly. A fix for something probably lead to a break in something else. The people who deal with it are probably on call for huge emergencies, but on vacation for the holidays. It should get fixed over the next week or two.
Ah, I love this. They've added new features, such as:
1. Your last logout must have been within 3 seconds of trying to access an armory page, otherwise you are "inactive."
2. Armory speccing for uber laggage, a talent which causes a 19/38/57/76/95% chance of crashing the browser of anyone trying to inspect it.

The armory isn't always the best. It said my Alts were still in a guild I had disbanded AND in the guild I joined for 1 whole month. happens.
