Any suggestions as to a respec i might need to do? or change in equipment?

Your gear is fine, actually, your gear is better than most your lvl (particularly the Bloodrazor) but your spec needs work. Lose those 5 points in master of deception, keep one or two there if you really think it helps but you'll really want to put points in Improved Sinister strike and Adrenaline rush. Also lose Blade twisting, it's really not that useful, just use crippling poison or something. For your lvl, I'd do something like this.

If all you are doing is BGs, here are the changes I would make:
Take the 5 points out of Lightning Reflexes and fill out Imp SS and Imp Gouge.
Lose Deflection and Riposte and fill out Imp Sprint and Imp Slice n Dice.
Lose the 5 points in Mask of Deception and put them in Malice.
Take the 2 points ouf of Blade Twisting, put 1 to fill out Aggression and put 1 in either Endurance or Imp Kick (your choice).
Take the point out of Vitality and put it in Adrenaline Rush. (For god's sake do this please NOW!!!)
This will leave you with 1 point. You can put it to fill out Imp Kick or Endurance (whichever you chose earlier) or you can put it in Imp Eviscerate.
I would put it in Imp Eviscerate and put your next 2 points into it as well.
Edit: Jon's build will work as well, but I personally never take Deflection or Riposte in a combat swords build. With the build I recommended I could fill it out as I got to 70 without having to respec again.
Also, at this point, Malice is a straight 5% damage increase, which is what you were asking for.

Crippling, wound and mind numb.
Always have crippling. [main hand or off hand for shiv when you have it]
If there are lots of healers use wound, if there are lots of casters in general use mind numb.
if you dont know yet, like when you just enter pvp BG's and such. Use wound. Its a safe bet.

Seems you have a fairly nice pair of crafted trousers right now (wish they'd been around 2 years ago when I needed them :p).
Ele is talking about The Devilsaur Set, Tribal Leather working old school good pre 60 gear, in fact, the only good bit of craft able gear for leather working rogues back in the day.
Much more preferable to The Stormshroud Set which used to be useless, but as a 3/4 might be bearable (if replaceable by 'of the Bandit' green from Outlands the second you hit 58.
