/rant on.
I was going on a Heroic Mech run to try and acquire a Sun Eater. The group make up was me(warrior) and friends. We invite a mage that is looking for heroic mech. He is invited but is on the other side of the outlands. He then tells me that we will not make it through mech because of my lack of gear. Then then drops out of the group and begins telling my and my rl best friend that we may only get past the first boss due to my gear and that I would have a 30g repair bill. I got a huge chip on my shoulder over that and we found another person and did down pantheon at the end. My sun eater did not drop but i dig get some dps legs and a tank rink. I tried to look him up again to let him know we finished and to go @!$% himself but he was not online.

/rand off

Please look at my gear and let me know how I stand for heroics and kara.

Thank you all for your time.

I don't think you really need to ask this question...I'd bet you already know the answer....you seem like you know how to gear.

Your uncritable, uncrushable (with shield block or w/e the warrior skill is called) and over 12k health unbuffed, with 4 greens, which is perfectly fine for heroics. (I remember my old guild leader saying that warriors need to be uncritable, and over 12k health, to tank kara...)

P.S. I've seen people say don't come to heroics with greens, but I started heroics with about the same stats as you and I had a green trinket :P....The mage probably saw four greens, and said wow what a noob, not knowing at all about being uncritable, or taking a glance at your health. He was the noob in the case, and if thats what you were looking for by this post, then I'll say it :)...your stats are fine for heroics...so go tank them, and don't let ignorant mages mess with your mind :P

EDIT:

Check out this thread, about kara tank gear requirements...(kara is usually considered what comes after heroics, though some heroics can have harder fights)

You have 4 greens, and have more than the listed health, more than the listed armor, more than the listed defense skill, more than the listed complete avoidance (dodge+parry)(possibly add in the 5% miss chance), and if you read down the listed hit is not really that important, and the listed crit is almost impossible, while maintaining the important stats you already have.

your mitigation and avoidance are fine for starting heroics and kara (though not sure if it is enough for prince/nightbane). hell, you've even got a good amount of hit for better TPS. your SBV is not that high, but then again that's a gear issue, and you will pretty much automatically pick up more SBV with better gear.
keep an eye out for dabiri's enigma, melmorta's twilight longbow and the sha'tari vindicator's waistguard.

to hell with that noob mage. he obviously didn't know what he was talking about.
