I think I'm going to go scryers on my rogue. I know traditionally sword rogues went aldors for the sword, but with the easy gladiator swords I don't see any other reason to go aldor. Except for a pretty nice blue ring at revered, I'm leaning towards scryers because I like the shoulder inscription better (more AP and less crit = win for PVP).
So assuming I got a gladiator MH sword for raiding, not much reason to go aldors? I prefer farming the scryer humanoid mobs anyways.

Maybe decide which is better for professions for you, but other than that, the weapons aren't a reason to pick any longer.

Honestly there's not a big difference between the two.
I went aldor with my rogue simply for the sword. I don't really pvp so it's a good MH for a while.
With my draenei priest I also went aldor. I wanted the patterns for tailoring. Being a draenei also started her out with more aldor rep anways.
I'll probably also go aldor with my prot tank.

Hmm.. Scryers enchant is higher crit/lower AP (15/20)
Aldors is 10/30
Although the Scryers quest chain gives a fantastic belt reward (Socrethar's Girdle)

If i had to do it all over again, i would have gone aldor just for the sword.
Having that and latro's means you will be doing very respectable dps in karazhan almost immediately.

retainers blade was a decent offhand for combat daggers, but i just like the scryer enviroment better, if not for the fact you can walk off the edge of scryer tier and live :)

Gladiator offhand dagger is a better choice than grinding scryer rep, if you want to be combat daggers, which i highly suggest against.

Haha I can't count how many times I've died from jumping off Aldor Heights, after having been hearthed in scryers for so long.
