Okay this is very noobish of me. I just realized that I have 0

resilience... *smacks head repeatedly* How can I get this up?

What's even worse, I have never heard of it until recently (mainly because I play WoW casually and am still learning everything there is to know)

Call me noob, call me stupid, whatever... at least inform me of what I can do to better myself. Thanks!

Edit:

I have gone through the higher levels in our guild and none of us have any resilience.. minus our 65 pally who have a whopping 3...

Is it really needed, especially for a rogue? Because I barely get critted, if at all, due to me with dodge.

Resilience is a PvP stat. It reduces the chance for an enemy to land a critical strike on you, and reduces the critical strike damage of any crit that does land. You can find it on level 70 PvP gear (both honor and arena gear).

Unless you PvP, don't even worry about it. In PvE, you shouldn't be getting hit enough for this to matter, and resilience gear generally has lots of stamina and not a whole lot else, so gearing yourself out in resilience gear seriously gimps your DPS stats.

He meant PVP as in BG's and arena, not the type of realm you are on. But yeah, it sounds like you won't need to worry about it since it sounds like you don't do BG's much, if at all.

Which is probably for the best, since to get the +res gear you need honor and/or arena points. And to get those you need to do a lot of BG/arena, which kinda sucks without resilience. So you need to fight in more BG's/arena to get the better gear in order to have an easier go of it in, you guessed it, BG's and arena.

Vicious cycle, for which there is little hope of escape. And now, back to AV.

Yeah I barely do BGs at all.. the whole time I've played WoW, I've probably gone to a BG *maybe* 3 or 4 times... and it's usually just because I'm bored and decide to frolic over there lol. (not to the point where I goof around causing our team to lose, but you know... instead of questing or grinding)

I was under the impression (sp?) that it was JUST a lvl 70 stat, only found on lvl 70 pvp gear... how did a lvl 65 get their hands on some? :o

There are actually several pieces of quest reward gear with resilience on them prior to lvl 70 as there are ample opportunities to pvp in Outland prior to arena where res is most necessary.
