Now that iam ready what loot should i aim for in karazhan?
i cant link my armory because its not updated and even if it did, well my subscription ended and even if it does iam not dressed in my combat gear [i logged out while fishing ;p] [wont be back for a month due to exams and then a 15 day trip to India]
am still trying to get the abacus and hourglass. but otherwise
Iam exhaulted with aldor so i was just waiting for latro's to buy my MH and respec combat.
My current items are
MH - Whispering blade of Slaying
OH - Claw of the netherwing flight
head - helm of assasination
Neck - natasha's choker
Shoulders - shoulders of assasination
chest - Tunic of, yes, assasination
shirt - tux shirt.
tabard - Aldor
Wrists - Spymistress's wristguards
Hands - Grips of deftness [Karazhan trash drop ~_~]
Waist - Belt of the Naaru.
Legs - Leggings of Assasination.
Feet - Boots of Shifting sands
ring 1 - Slayer's Mark of the Redemption.
ring 2 - Kaylaan's Signet.
I'd like to know which heroics [if any] are open to me right now. ANd which items i should aim for. I have a pretty good idea, but i've found one can never know if better substitutes are available.

First thing I would say is stop worrying about Latro's and don't waste the money on Vindicator's Brand.
Go do some BGs for a few days and get the S1 swords. The S1 MH is 10 DPS higher than Vind's and the damage stats aren't that far apart. The S1 OH is 20 DPS higher than Latro's, only .1 seconds slower, and the damage stats are similar.
All in all you will see a nice jump in DPS with those 2 swords.
Early on in Kara (Attumen, Moroes, Maiden, Curator) there are a few nice pieces to look for:
Worgen Claw Necklace and Gloves of Dexterous Manipulation off Attumen.
Edgewalker Longboots off of Moroes.
Bracers of Maliciousness off of Maiden.
Garona's Signet Ring and the Tier 4 Gloves token off of Curator.
If you've never set foot in Kara, I can't see how any of these wouldn't be an upgrade for you (I can't check your armory from work).
Also with that gear, assuming you have Bladefists's Breadth and Core of Ar'kelos as trinkets, you should be fine to run just about any heroic. That will be even more true once you get your swords and go combat.
On my raiding char (resto sham) I just completely skipped the heroic level and started running Kara with my guild and getting drops from there.

ah yes I have done kara before.
If you read the list you'd see Grips of Deftness. Got it off a ghost in the curators pad.

Grips of Deftness. Got them and I have the Dext Manipulation ones...
Now, shadowpanther.net lists the Grips of Deftness as higher but I am undecided yet. Are they really that much better? Why?

SP rates the Grips higher for the expertise rating, which is pretty hard to come by (no enchants or gems for it, for example).
Getting the S1 weapons is a good idea as far as damage output goes; it will completely remove any reason for you to loot a weapon until you get to SSC/TK though (and you'll look the same as every other rogue out there).
Don't forget that you get Badges of Justice from Kara bosses now, the Badge bracers are way better than the Maiden ones, Nynjah's Tabi Boots are better than Edgewalker's, so don't feel too bad if someone else gets them over you :)
