1. I am a ranged weapon, your god. You shall not attack with any weapons but me, unless it is to wing clip and get to range.

2. You shall not attack with false ranged weapons such as thrown weapons, they are an abomination before me.

3. You shall not ask other hunters what the best pet is. Someone will slap you.

4. Learn how to CC upon command, for it is holy

5. Honor and feed thy pet, it will save your *** more times than you can count.

6. Thou shall not let your healer die if you have any way to prevent it (but thou shall be murderin' a plenty)

7. Thou shall not perform attacks on CCed mobs.

8. Thou shalt not ninja.

9. Thou shall not invest in false stats like strength. Honestly, don't do it.

10. You shall not covet shiny melee drops. They are an anathma to your being, even if they are big and glowy and spiky, you shalt not lot for them unless they have ranged stats.

Thou shalt not shoot at other people's traps and blame it on them.

Misdirect only works on mobs..

(I wished I had MD for that run.. IDIOT kept shooting at my trap, over everything else, no matter what. I FD to try to get him killed, and the tank saves his life and almost dies himself. Healer saves his life, I save the healer, then I get the guy telling me to stop breaking my own trap.)

Thou shalt not find ways to be a contibutive member to the world other than causing pain to bad things.

Thou shall part with thy small, dual weapons for thy god-like axe / polarm / whatever that takes two hands to swing painfully.

My english, old or current, sucks.

EDIT: Spelling

So, Romordi, if I cast MD on someone, then attack another player, the player will attack who I misdirected and not me?

As far as I know, players are immune to threat effects..

Misdirect only works on mobs.. Pets, until told to do something specific, are effectively mobs.

They act like mobs if they're put on defensive or agressive stance.

Things every competent hunter should know:

1. Dismiss pet on drop down jumps in an instance

2. Pet on passive in instance runs

3. Repair, buy ammo, and pet food before you start your instance run

4. In PUGs your job is DPS, not to pull with multishot!

5. Traps are a good thing, use them!

6. Hunters are not for melee, Melee hunters are stupid and should be shot on sight.

7. Your pet cannot tank in an instance, leave that to the warrior or feral druid.

8. Don't be an a-hole and roll need on bear or strength gear because you want to improve your melee. Hunters don't need strength in any way.

9. Use FD if you do pull aggro off the tank! don't run like an idiot and make the healer overheal you and pull aggro as well!

10. Be respectful of Rogues and Feral druids rights to need roll on agility gear as well if they want it.

I'm ashamed of you guys. You forgot the biggest commandment of them all:

Thou shalt control thine own aggro.
