Gents,
Looking for some feedback on this build:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=hE00ic0oZZVcbt0xsxeb

Its for PVP with a primary focus on healing, but with the change to +healing also giving some +dmg I want to add some offensive power. I find that typically my damage output equals about 50% of my healing output in BGs.
I mainly PVP in BGs, but once I get internet in my new house I will venture back into Arena (which I am a bit of a cherry at).

My thoughts:
-I wanted to economize my points in the Resto tree so I could dump them into Ele.
-I dropped Imp Healing Wave because I find I only use HW after a fight (in BGs) or for NS instacast in combat. Its LHW and chain heal in fights for me.
-No **** shield due to the dispellability issue.
-In the Ele tree not too sure I got it right here. I hate only spending 2 points in Reverb, but I wanted Elemental Fury and EotS. Is there a better place I could have allocated those points (Earth's Grasp or Ele Focus maybe)?

So whaddya think about it for BGs? Arena (2v2 or 3v3 most likely)?
Cheers!

A build is more specified towards who's playing it. so if it works for you, it works for you.

Although if you do not take Earth Shield, people will /ignore you. Even WITH being dispelled it is just far to good to pass up. If you are choosing Elemental Fury over it you are making a mistake.

2nd problem is call of thunder. It might be nice in BG's, but in Arena you will NOT be standing still long enough to be casting a lightning bolt. You will be running your butt off trying tog et away from the DPS as they all gun for you from the get go. So it is just wasted points.

Here is how i suggest your elemental side be.

Convection/Concussion both 5/5. Pretty much a basic elemental start.

Reverberation 5/5. As a Healer shaman your shock spells are your bread and butter in Arena. they are the only way you will deal damage, short of totems. Save the the very very sparing lightning bolt. Not to mention you will need to interupt spells with Earthsock very often. Frostshock is your best kiting spell for Melee, and Flameshock is your most mana efficient/damage spell. I suggest moving your Call of Thunder and filling up those talents.

You should also think about the one point in elemental focus. If you are using your shock spells every cooldown (Like you should) then you have a very high chance of procing this, which will help your mana cost, and in tern your DPS.

Eye of the Storm 3/3: Very nice spell.

At the end move the Elemental fury point to Eartshock, and thats about it.

Thanks for the reply Tobi.
I'm gonna try it out for BGs and see what it feels like.

Red, that is weird. Prob a tard. I was in Durnholde once (on my warrior) with a dual weilding shammy that wanted to heal. That was fine as I way overgeared the instance, but then I inspected him and he had a level 10 white something in his offhand...he turned out to be a total d*ck and he is one of the very few people I have kicked from a group.
Anywho, was bored and thought I'd throw in a story.

Cheers!
