yup pally tank questionFollow

#1 Dec 25 2007 at 5:36 AM Rating: Decent
So I just respec'd to prot after lvling to 70 as good ol, ret. I've realized after beginning to work on my kara key is that it's a pain in the butt to quest as a prot pally after being ret. It seems like I have no offensive spells like I did while I was ret. So I'm hoping that someone can either link me a stickie to help me with my problem or essentially tell me that while it is a slow fight, I'll be okay with holy shield and all the other prot pally buffs. Thx again, and sorry for repeating a question that has probably been beaten to death.

Thats it ;)

To be fair, prot really only starts to shine when you have 8-10 baddies hitting on you.
Thats when you start smiling and wonder if they are trying to tickle you to death :D

One on one its sloooow going though :D

Yeah, it's gonna be a slow fight, but you'll be killing a ton of mobs at once.

I can't wait to get my tankadin up to that level and see what it's like killing 6 mobs at once.

Pretty much stop fighting one mob at a time. If you make full use of a judged Seal of Wisdom or a judged Seal of Light (these are situational, pick the one that works best for how you're doing) you'll often end up coming out in better shaoe in either health, mana or both than you would fighting just one mob.

I tend to make slow fights more exciting by trying to take on as many as I can - then you're looking at your seals closely, looking at your health, you may have to bubble and bandage, etc. But you'll constantly surprise yourself at how many you can take on if you push yourself.

Except with casters... casters kill.

Also, if you're only taking on one or 2 mobs at a time for questing or something, wear a spell damage set instead of your tanking set.
